| Resumo: | Quinto Cúrcio escreveu História de Alexandre Magno da Macedônia, possivelmente no século I d.C. O propósito do artigo é estudar principalmente a relação entre a construção da imagem de Alexandre e o contexto particular de produção da obra, o Principado romano, com suas tensões entre aristocratas e imperadores. Para tanto, desenvolvemos a noção de allelopoiesis, que enfatiza uma construção mútua entre passado e presente. |
| Resumo em outra língua: | Quintus Curtius wrote History of Alexander the Great of Macedon, possibly in the 1st century AD. The purpose of the article is to study mainly the relationship between the construction of Alexander’s image and the particular context of production of the work, the Roman Principate with its tensions between aristocrats and emperors. Therefore, we build up the notion of allelopoiesis, emphasising a mutual construction between past and present. |
