Resumo: O bullying, considerado uma subcategoria do conceito de violência, é caracterizado por agressões físicas ou psicológicas, repetitivas e sem motivação aparente que ocorre entre estudantes em uma condição desigual de poder, causando dor a vítima que é incapaz de se defender. Várias são as consequências negativas envolvidas nesse cenário, podendo ocorrer efeitos a curto ou a longo prazo. Alguns exemplos incluem: depressão, baixa autoestima, maior risco para suicídio, fator preditor de condutas infracionais e delinquência, além de piora da saúde física e psicológica. Infelizmente, a escola é o local de contexto social de maior prevalência desse tipo de violência, sendo desafiador para a comunidade escolar o controle e diminuição desse problema. Visando contribuir para a melhora das relações interpessoais e conscientização dos alunos, esta pesquisa de cunho qualitativo foi desenvolvida com alunos de 3º, 4º e 5º anos de uma escola da Rede Municipal de Ensino da cidade de Mariana. O desenvolvimento da pesquisa se deu com a aplicação de um projeto de intervenção que objetivou investigar o bullying no ambiente escolar. Da amostra pesquisada 30,6% foram alvos de bullying, 52% autores e 90% espectadores. Nos 3º e 4º anos o tipo de bullying mais frequente foi o físico e nos 5º anos foi o bullying verbal. Além disso, o local de maior ocorrência de agressões foi o pátio do recreio, seguido pela sala de aula. Realizou-se um questionário pós teste com objetivo de avaliar o projeto de intervenção proposto e constatou-se que 69% da amostra demonstrou grande satisfação com o projeto e 30,8% concordou que após o projeto o ambiente escolar sofreu mudanças, ficando as relações interpessoais melhores. Como produto dessa pesquisa foram elaboradas três cartilhas sobre o tema bullying, direcionadas à escola, aos alunos e à família. Com objetivo de informar, conscientizar e propor estratégias para cada público de como reconhecer, prevenir e combater o bullying. Foi possível concluir que o projeto resultou em maior conhecimento por parte dos alunos sobre a temática bullying e que as estratégias utilizadas foram bem aceitas e capazes de sensibilizar os alunos.
Resumo em outra língua: Bullying, considered a subcategory of the concept of violence, is characterized by physical or psychological aggressions, repetitive and without apparent motivation that occurs among students in an unequal power situation, causing pain to the victim who is unable to defend himself. There are several negative consequences involved in this scenario, and there may be short or long-term effects. Some examples include: depression, low self-esteem, greater risk for suicide, predisposing factor of misconduct and delinquency, and worsening of physical and psychological health. Unfortunately, school is the place of social context of greater prevalence of this type of violence, being a challenge for the school community to control and reduce this problem. Aiming to contribute to the improvement of interpersonal relations and student awareness, this qualitative research was developed with 3th, 4th and 5th grade students from a school in the Municipal Education Network of the city of Mariana. The development of the research occurred with the application of an intervention project that aimed to investigate bullying in the school environment. Of the sample surveyed, 30.6% were bullying targets, 52% were authors and 90% were spectators. In the 3rd and 4th years, the most frequent type of bullying was the physical one and in the 5th year, it was verbal bullying. In addition, the place of greatest occurrence of aggressions was the playground, followed by the classroom. A post-test questionnaire was carried out to evaluate the proposed intervention project and it was verified that 69% of the sample showed great satisfaction with the project and 30.8% agreed that after the project the school environment changed, leaving relations interpersonal better. As a result of the research, three booklets on the subject of bullying were written, aimed at the school, the students and the family. In order to inform, raise awareness and propose strategies for each public on how to recognize, prevent and combat bullying. It was possible to conclude that the project resulted in greater knowledge on the part of the students on the bullying issue and that the strategies used were well accepted and able to sensitize students.
